ISO 14001 certification

ISO 14001 is a voluntary international standard, applicable to any type of public or private organisation, which specifies the requirements for an environmental management system.

What is

It means creating an organisational system within the company whose requirements comply with the ISO 9001 standard. I requisiti della norma si applicano a tutti i processi aziendali, dal commerciale alla gestione degli acquisti, alla produzione, etc. The processes must be documented through appropriate documentation (quality manual, procedures, instructions) and all results of 'doing quality' in the company will be recorded on appropriate forms (quality registration documents).
Once obtained, the SOA Certification is valid for five years (subject to confirmation of validity in the third year) and is issued, by specially authorised SOA Bodies, at the end of an in-depth assessment of the requirements imposed by law, found in the last ten years of activity of the company concerned; in particular, the works carried out in the last ten years and the five best income documents among the last ten approved and filed will be taken into consideration.
